    1. Hold the Palo Santo stick at one end.
    2. Ignite the other end with a match or lighter until it catches fire.
    3. Allow the flame to burn for about 30 seconds to 1 minute, then gently blow it out.
    4. The Palo Santo stick should smolder and emit fragrant smoke.
    5. Move around the space you wish to cleanse or purify, allowing the smoke to reach all areas.
    6. Use a heatproof dish or holder to catch any falling embers.
    7. When finished, extinguish the Palo Santo stick by pressing the smoldering end into a fireproof container or sand until it stops smoking.
    8. Store the Palo Santo stick in a dry, cool place for future use.
